Christine Wilson
Managing Member
Christine brings over 22 years of accounting experience across a wide range of industries - from WIP-driven cellular tower infrastructure to healthcare. She has served as both an Operations Controller and Corporate Controller, giving her a deep, practical understanding of how financial departments operate at every level. Christine has led accounting software transitions, managed the financial side of business acquisitions, and overseen full-cycle accounting including A/R, A/P, G/L, and payroll. She brings complete focus to every role she takes on and is passionate about the craft of accounting. Outside of work she loves animals, reading, and is an avid movie enthusiast.
Krysten Williams
Managing Member
Krysten is a graduate of Western Washington University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and over seven years of hands-on accounting experience across construction, healthcare, and fitness. She founded Abacus with a commitment to delivering big-firm capabilities with a small-firm personality - building genuine partnerships with every client she serves. Krysten is well-versed in account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, payroll, accounts payable, and ad-hoc reporting, and brings a talent for quickly understanding complex problems and finding strong, practical solutions. A Florida native and honorary Washington resident, she enjoys time with family, reading, writing, and her eight cats.
Melissa Williams
Managing Member
Melissa's path to Abacus began 25 years ago as a summer intern at a small tower construction company - and what started as a seasonal role became a 24-year career in GAAP accounting, mergers and acquisitions, banking and treasury, and balance sheet management. She pursued business and human resources studies at Portland State University before entering the workforce full time, and has held titles including payroll manager, accounting manager, senior accountant, and staff accountant. An Oregon native, Melissa has lived and worked remotely in North Texas for the past 20 years. Outside of work she is passionate about child welfare and has fostered over 13 medically complex children alongside her husband. She also enjoys barnyard chickens, photography, reading, and gardening.
